To provide proficient, age specific and professional knowledge in the assessments and referral of all patients and families who present or call to the Clinical Assessment Center for services. Interviews and assesses client's needs and refers clients to appropriate resources. Communicates with physicians, insurance companies and agencies when pre-certing and making referrals.
This is a PRN position. Rotates all shifts.
Education: Masters in psychology, counseling, social work (license and/or certification according to state requirements) or Registered Nurse with psychiatric/mental health experience.
Experience: 1-2 years psychiatric/behavioral health experience and clinical skills. Preferred: 3-6 years in experience and clinical skills.
Professional Requirement: License and/or certification according to state requirements.
Certifications: CPR certification. Crisis Management Training (to be obtained within 90 days of employment and updated annually)
